OACETT members live and work within six regions in the province: Western, Horseshoe, Toronto, Central, Eastern and Northern. A regional member from the Member Engagement and Services Committee leads each region and represents their constituents.
OACETT has 27 active chapters where members across the province can meet and network with other technology professionals and participate in local events and CPD that can be helpful to their careers, build their professional network or just have some fun. Within each of the six regions, there are several chapters.
OACETT members manage the local chapters. Each chapter holds events each year, ranging from golf tournaments, speakers, plant tours, awards nights, CPD events to social events with members of other engineering associations.
Chapters often notify members about events through e-mail, in The Ontario Technologist magazine or on the website. Members find opportunities for professional development through their volunteer roles at the local chapter.
It’s one of the best networking resources around! We strongly encourage members to support and participate in their local chapter.
