OACETT's Education and Exam Committee has spent the last year updating the Professional Practice Exam (PPE) and the Internationally Educated Professionals Practice Exam (IEPPE), last updated in 2014.

 Updates to the PPE and IEPPE include: 

• new OACETT governance structure
• addition of By-law 20, and removal of By-law 1
• creating gender-inclusive materials
• revised names of provincial bodies
• accessible material, which includes an audio recording

There will be no changes to the price of the PPE and IEPPE. The new exams will begin on May 1, but new materials (study guides and seminars) will be launched March 31, 2023.
