Fellow OACETT
The Fellow OACETT designation is OACETT's most prestigious title. OACETT members can nominate certified members who have demonstrated one or more significant achievements/contributions in the field of engineering technology or applied science. Self-nominations are welcome.
- Technical accomplishment(s) such as innovation in equipment, processes, research, products.
- Service to the engineering technology and applied science community and/or the public in the following areas:
- Significantly advancing the cause (e.g. protection of the public, job creation, international work, outreach) or knowledge of engineering technology and applied science (teaching, writing, public speaking).
- Outstanding dedication and contribution to OACETT (time, financial and/or in-kind contributions(s) to the Fletcher Foundation, representing OACETT at/on conferences, Boards, Councils, committees, events).
- Service to the not-for-profit sector or the community unrelated to OACETT such as business-related organizations, service clubs, sports, political involvement, local clubs or events, charitable events, or groups, other professional or scientific associations.
- Devotion to the profession over a period of time or for a single outstanding act of service.
