Toronto East Chapter invites you to "Bring Your Creations to Life: learn Why Intellectual Property Matters," a FREE CPD-approved virtual seminar on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
This seminar will introduce you to trademarks, patents, trade secrets, industrial designs and copyrights. It will also explain how protecting your creations through Intellectual Property (IP) rights can give you an advantage over your competition. This presentation also introduces the importance of considering intellectual property early to avoid common mistakes such as involuntary disclosure, insufficient patentability/registrability research, accidental disclosure, infringement, etc. Having a greater understanding of the various types of intellectual property opens the mind to strategies and addition revenue sources that may enhance and or maximize business objectives.
