Ontario Reverts to Modified Stage Two of Roadmap to Reopen in Battle Against Omicron
Time-limited measures needed to preserve hospital capacity
At a news conference on Jan 3, 2022, Premier Doug Ford announced a modified Stage Two of Roadmap to Reopen in the battle against Omicron. The restrictions go into effect Wednesday at 12:01 a.m. and will remain in place until at least Jan 26, 2022, subject to trends in public health and health system indicators. These measures include requiring businesses and organizations to ensure employees work remotely unless the nature of their work requires them to be on-site.
