Meet OACETT’s first 360 Partnership Program partner, Morrison Hershfield

The Ontario Technologist recently caught up with Allan Fraser, C.E.T., rcca, director of operations, transportation field services and Loui Pappas, M.A.Sc., MBA, P.Eng., vice-president of business development, transportation, who shared their thoughts on the 360 Partnership Program and the unique opportunity to collaborate with OACETT and its members.
Q: Why did Morrison Hershfield join the 360 Partnership Program?
A: Loui Pappas – As a prominent firm in the North American consulting engineering market, Morrison Hershfield maintains membership in all provincial, state and national professional bodies. In Ontario, we are licensed to practice and hold a PEO Certificate of Authorization. But we have a diverse team. Engineering professionals and engineering technologists alike. We have nearly 100 OACETT members. Whether engineers or engineering technologists, we build around all our staff and we commit to their professional development. By supporting OACETT, we support our strategy to build our personnel’s expertise and their development.
A: Allan Fraser – A cornerstone of Morrison Hershfield’s business since the mid-1980s has been contract administration services for transportation highways, bridges, and transit infrastructure projects throughout Ontario. OACETT collaboration offers Morrison Hershfield enhanced community awareness of Morrison Hershfield and increased brand exposure. We also look forward to leveraging networking, recruitment and thought leadership opportunities through social media, The Ontario Technologist and other platforms.
