Algonquin College's We Saved You a Seat project needs your help!

Volunteers wanted to mentor students and participate in on-the-job video series

Volunteer as a mentor

Algonquin College is looking for OACETT certified members who can mentor students in their technology programs, including electrical engineering technician, mechanical engineering technology, electro-mechanical engineering technician, and computer systems technician programs.

This is a one-year commitment which includes monthly meetings or check-ins; and overall support to help students transition to the workforce.

Mentorship is OACETT CPD approved.

Volunteer to be in a video – (women only)

Algonquin is also looking for female OACETT members for their on-the-job video series. You will inspire the next generation of engineering technicians and technologists!
Members can volunteer for one or both activities.
