OACETT welcomes new CEO Cheryl Farrow
Cheryl Farrow brings more than 20 years of not-for-profit leadership to the association

The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) is pleased to introduce its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Cheryl Farrow.
Cheryl joined OACETT on September 8, 2020, bringing more than 20 years of experience in not-for-profit management, including governance transformation, amalgamation, and credentialing.
Cheryl’s previous leadership roles include CEO of the Canadian Bar Association, President and CEO of the Supply Chain Management Association, Executive Director of the Canadian Grocery Human Resource Council, and President of the Ontario Tourism Education Corporation. She has also served on the other side of the boardroom table as chair of the Alliance of Sector Councils and president of the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM).
Cheryl also holds an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation.
Cheryl’s immediate priorities include putting the association’s strategic plan into action and connecting with OACETT members and strategic partners from academia, industry and other professional associations. With COVID-19 challenging how companies work, Cheryl will also focus on how members are affected by the crisis and will work closely with staff to support members coping with disruptions in their organizations.
Please join us in welcoming Cheryl as OACETT’s new leader in advancing the engineering technology profession.
