Download the virtual platform and get ready to attend our first virtual conference.
We are just two days away to the 2020 OACETT Virtual Conference and Young Professionals Town Hall Event where we will be connecting and enjoying inspiring keynotes and CPD sessions!
The conference begins this Thursday, November 5 at 9:00 a.m. and ends on Friday, November 6 at 3:00 p.m. The Young Professionals Town Hall Event begins on Saturday, November 7 at 10:00 a.m. and ends the same day at 3:30 p.m. There will be breaks in-between most sessions. Since this is a virtual conference, you are more than welcome to hop on and off the platform based on your availability.
Prior to the event, YOU MUST:
2) Create your login – we recommend saving your login details to your browser (Google Chrome is preferred) and bookmarking the site
4) Review the agenda, notifications, community board.
5) You must sign up on Whova using the same email address you used to registered to the conference
How to attend a session
You can browse and select sessions from the agenda page by going to view session and click the view live stream button. Note that this button will only appear 10 minutes before the session start time! You can also access the live Chat and submit questions to the presenters!
Engage and network
Browse speakers, attendees and our sponsors by visiting the respective sections, plan meet-ups or virtual meetings and chat with other participants.
Receive reminders and updates
Keep an eye on your dynamic home screen to see important messages, announcements, or sessions about to start.
Build your personal daily schedule
Plan your day by selecting sessions from the agenda and click add to my agenda. Please note, you do not need to set up this feature to attend events. Schedules will sync across devices.
