Civil Engineering Alumni Speaker Series
Cally Barrett and Lianna Grice are two students attending the Kingston St. Lawrence College (SLC) campus enrolled in the Civil Engineering Technology program. They currently hold the positions of “Women in Technology” (WIT) and “College Liaison” for the Kingston OACETT Chapter.
Cally and Lianna are participating in this years National Engineering Month College Challenge (NEMCC); a competition between students attending Ontario’s Colleges to promote; “There is a place for everyone in Engineering and Technology”. The event is a Civil Engineering/Technology, “SLC Alumni Speaker Series”, consisting of four different presentations in March 2017.
The event dates are:
Wednesday, March 22
: Nathan Ellis- MTO Kingston @ 11:30-12:30
Presentations will be given at SLC Kingston RM 11710 (lecture theatre). All presentations will be approximately 30 minutes long followed by a mix and mingle with the SLC Civil Department faculty and students.
Join us for light refreshments and presentations regarding the challenges of the Civil Engineering and Technology Industry.
