These Fact Sheets will give you the basics of OACETT CPD.

Certified Members

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) adds value to your C.E.T., C.Tech., or A.Sc.T. designation.  Learn more

Associate Members admitted before July 2005
Associates admitted to membership prior to July 2005 (as long as their membership has been continuous). Learn more

Associates admitted or reinstated to membership after July 2005
Generally speaking, CPD is not required until you become certified. Learn more
  • Associates are assigned a certification timeline – scroll down and click the blue "Track Certification" button to check yours
  • If you fail to certify by the end of your certification timeline you will be granted a 6 month grace period. After your grace period expires, you are automaticaly assigned to the three year CPD cycle beginning the following January
Self-Employed Members
CPD assures clients that you are keeping current with changes to technology and the profession. Learn more

Employers
CPD ensures employees are up-to-date in knowledge and aware of the changing trends in engineering technology and applied science. Learn more
